Starting on March 8, Warner Brothers will be testing selected movies for purchase or rental through WB on Facebook. The Dark Knight is scheduled to be its first test movie. Apparently by “liking” a movie, you will get access to rent it for $3, comment on it, pause it, and more on Facebook.
Seems like we’ll be seeing some “like” spam from our Facebook friends in the near future, unless they are smart and are watching them on Netflix or Amazon instead. Then again, not everyone watches as many movies as we (and probably you) do. The problem we have with Facebook is how many people we might not want to see our watching habits. Perhaps there will be an option to hide that particular “like”. We might want to watch Sex and the City 2. Nah.
