Roger Ebert posted this really interesting footage comparing an action scene from 2005′s The Island to a similar scene in his new film Transformers: Dark of the Moon. There is definitely some crossover, which isn’t really surprising since Bay surely has a ton of this kind of footage at his disposal.
Does a Transformers fan care? Surely not. Can we get a chuckle out of it? Indubitably.
