In honor of the DVD release of 127 Hours starring James Franco, we have compiled the list of top films where someone loses an appendage. And in this case we mean and arm or a leg. This is a family show.

Quinn gets his armed sliced off…twice.
Toy Story 2 (1999)
Woody’s arm is torn off, sewn back on and threatened to be torn off again! It’s like Saw around here…speaking of…
Saw (2004)
Almost as bad as Woody, Cary Elwes loses his cool and breaks himself free by freeing himself of his foot.
Saving Private Ryan (1999)
I believe this is the only entry where someone gets an arm blown off and then picks it up and takes it with him.
Monty Python and the Holy Grail (1975)
The Black Knight loses two arms and a leg in a duel. ‘Tis but a scratch.
Forrest Gump (1994)
Lieutenant Dan loses his legs but gets magic legs in the end.
The Terminator (1984)
Does it count if he’s not human? Arnold loses both legs in this one, but keeps on moving.
Glory (1998)
The Civil War was no place for anesthesia, as we obviously saw when a solider had to have his leg amputated.
