New poster for The Avengers

Check out this promotional image for the Joss Whedon-directed (woot!) movie, The Avengers including images of Jeremy Renner as Hawkeye, Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow, Chris Evans as Captain America, Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man, and The Hulk (voiced by Lou Ferrigno, ha!)

The film also stars Stellan Skarsgård, Cobie Smulders, Mark Ruffalo, Felicia Day(!), Tom Hiddleston, and Jenny Agutter (from Logan’s Run!).

It just looks like a ton of flippin’ fun. The Avengers hits theaters in May 2012. [CBM]
