The role of Myrtle’s (Fisher) husband has now been filled by Jason Clarke (The Wettest County in the World). He looks like a perfect fit: character actor, blends into roles well, and looks like he could be a gas station attendant. I approve of this message. [THR]

Brad Pitt is still set to star as the UN researcher investigating the zombie encounters, alongside James Badge Gale as Captain Spake and Mirielle Enos as Pitt’s character’s wife. Ellie Kemper plays a flaky chick on The Office and in Bridesmaids and it appealed to the producers of 21 Jump Street who were also casting a flaky chick. Or rather, “an annoyingly sincere chemistry teacher” who will be Channing Tatum’s love interest. Tatum stars alongside writer Jonah Hill (who co-wrote the film with Phil Lord and Chris Miller).
